In June, our second community meeting once again took place digitally. The main topic of the meeting this time was “Development meets Production” and with it went exciting discussion topics, such as the challenges of applying MBSE in Plant Engineering or the automation and stabilisation of the production process.
Highlights of the meeting included the presentations by university professor Dr- Ing. Christian Brecher on the digitalisation and networking of machine tools and by Dr. Martin Witte of Siemens AG, who critically examined the trends and opportunities of systems engineering in production.
We were also able to warmly welcome three new partners to our center: Kampf Schneid- und Wickeltechnik GmbH & Co. KG, as well as M.TEC Engineering GmbH and Siemens Healthineers AG. We are looking forward to further cooperation with these interesting companies!
Another main point of the meeting was a workshop, in which the questions and challenges of “Development meets Production” were further deepened and lively discussed at digital round tables.
We would like to thank all participants for the successful and exciting meeting and look forward to the next get-together in September, which will hopefully take place again on site!
