At the beginning of February, the first community meeting in 2021 of the Center of Systems Engineering took place in a digital format again. The topic of this meeting was in particular the question, how systems engineering can be successfully introduced and practiced in companies.
Despite the unusual circumstances, the centre partners were able to discuss best practices, processes, models and tools for successful systems engineering, especially in the context of a digital panel discussion. The CSE would like to especially thanks the representatives of the Successful Practice companies of our consortium benchmarking Robert Bosch GmbH, John Deere GmbH & Co KG, ZF Friedrichshafen and AVL List GmbH. Following the panel discussion, Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen (MR) reported on its experience with Model-based System Engineering (MBSE) as part of the presentation “MBSE@MR” and was thus able to provide even more good impetus for the meeting.
We would like to thank all participants for the intensive exchange and look forward to meeting again in June this year.
