13. October 2022

The third quarterly meeting of the Center for Systems Engineering with more than 20 participants took place in hybrid form at the end of September at our community partner Siemens Healthineers in Forchheim. Senior Vice President Stefan Pflaum warmly welcomed the CSE community and gave an initial, exciting insight into complex medical device development. This was followed by enriching presentations and discussions on the importance of method chains and tool chains for model-based system development. The agenda also included a workshop on certification and validation based on virtual product development and a workshop on Virtual Twin.

Till Pfeifer from CONTACT Software, Svenja Wendler from itemis AG and Morten Huber and Matthieu Plagnard from Dassault Systèmes enriched the quarterly meeting with their presentations on Method Chains/Tool Chains and Virtual Twin respectively.

We would like to thank everyone involved for the successful and exciting meeting and look forward to the next get-together in December this year.
