8. February 2023
At the end of January, we again invited our community partners to Aachen for the first quarterly meeting of the Center for Systems Engineering. The CSE team welcomed more than 20 participants on site and additional participants online. The first part of the two-day meeting was dedicated to joint consortium studies. A review of successfully completed consortia studies of the past year (including “Requirements in MBSE”, “Standardization in MBSE” and FMEA in MBSE”) was followed by a workshop on new consortia studies for the upcoming year. Community partners discussed potential studies (including “Model-based Certification”, “Customer Requirements”, “Model-Based Variant Management” ) in smaller groups. The discussions were then lively continued during a joint evening event. On the second day of the quarterly meeting, Andreas Zindel from Airbus and Tobias Schwarz & Fisnik Zejnullahu from Space Team Aachen enriched the quarterly meeting with exciting presentations from the field of “Systems Engineering in Aerospace”. After a lunch break, the meeting was concluded with the planning of the upcoming CSE year.
We thank all participants for the successful and exciting meeting and look forward to the next gathering in May this year.
