30. November 2022
4th Systems Engineering Congress
November 30, 2022 – December 01, 2022
After a successful start in 2019, the Systems Engineering Congress (SEC) is now entering its fourth round and invites you to discuss, exchange ideas and network.
For manufacturing companies, the pressure to reduce time-to-market and costs in order to remain internationally competitive is constantly increasing. At the same time, the complexity of highly interconnected products and business models is increasing. Today’s methods in the product development of technical systems often lack the necessary agility to meet these requirements. The Center for Systems Engineering therefore relies on methods of software development and model-based system development. In the spirit of transparent knowledge transfer to and from industry, the Systems Engineering Congress is therefore being held in Aachen.
As a leading and visionary company, you will have the opportunity to discuss the implementation of MBSE and network with fellow participants. Industry presentations from different disciplines of systems development will provide you with insights into how the digital representation of a product can support decisions in agile development processes and enable individually tailored operating strategies for these products.
Discuss the approach of model-based system development and alternative approaches with relevant experts and bring your own challenges with you![/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_row][/vc_column][/vc_row]

Overarching topics

Methods and tools
- How can conventional developmentprocesses, roles and data be implemented in a model-based approach?
- Which approaches to model-based system development are there
- Which methods and tools are suitable for agile, model-based system development?

Organization and culture
- How can model-based product development be integrated into existing organiation structures?
- What impact does modelbased product development have on bestexisting organizations?
- What cultural and organizational conditions must be createdin order to ensure company-wide deployment and the necessary acceptancefor model-based development?
